What we collectPhone number; for students: name, father’s name, CNIC number and images, date of birth, home city, permanent address, university, field of study, languages, guardian name and phone; for owners: name, CNIC and its photo; the hostel’s map location; payment and complaint records.WhyTo run your stay (fees, receipts, complaints, agreements) and, where the law requires, to report residents to the police. Never for ads.Who sees itYour hostel’s owner and wardens see your stay. CNIC images and guardian contacts are shown only to staff allowed to see them; every view is logged and the owner can see who viewed what. Other students see only what you allow: field, university, home city, languages. Never your CNIC, phone or address.AdvertisingAdvertisers pick a group (for example, psychology students in Islamabad) and DIDIROOM delivers the message. Advertisers never receive a name, number or list. You can mute promotions; hostel messages cannot be muted.SecurityEncrypted in transit and at rest. CNIC numbers and guardian phones are encrypted field by field. CNIC images open only through links that expire in 5 minutes, with a watermark.How longCNIC images are deleted 2 years after you check out. Stay, payment and settlement records are kept 6 years for accounting.Your rightsYou can ask for a copy of your data or delete your account in the app (Profile → Delete account) or at didiroom.com/delete-account.Previous-balance checksThere is no blacklist.
